Was so much fun!!!

I regret not staying the whole weekend but most of us had work on Monday...but we vowed next year to return and bring more friends. This was also the first time I cosplayed...so I was a little nervous about it but even on Friday the opening day, people were dressed up. More then half the convention and even more on Saturday. And if not in costume, they were wearing cute hats or carrying their SOOMs and other amazing bishie dolls. XD People even took my picture and recognized what I was supposed to be! It was great.

My fav was the dealer room of course - if I had more suitcase room I would have bought more toys. So many things my sister and I wanted. Hehe! I picked up a few naughty art books and manga and a lot of really cute things. A Sora cellphone charm for me and KH Cloud for my sister, some cute hand-made stuff. Nikki picked up a nice figure of Cloud from Crisis Core - in his cute little uniform. I was jealous - almost got the KH Sephiroth myself... There were also a couple of plushie/clothing artists there. (Lots of Doll enthusiasts there!) I was pretty dissappointed at the art auction! There was nothing good there, which is weird because there were plenty of artist booths selling their art that were really good! So thats is another goal for next year. Get something in the auction that I made. Erika got to meet Jo Chen and get some nifty stuff from her... so much hawt video game man art LOL! It was heaven. A lot of the male cosplayers were cute too, not straight... but at least it was nice on the eyes. x)

We stayed up late on Saturday to watch a showing of DOGS: Bullets and Carnage OAV...to which I acted like an idiot everytime they showed Mihai shirtless... and the lesbian couple in front of us totally agreed with my tastes AHAHAHA ~ Now me and my sister are totally in love with that series. And she's bringing her boyfriend to cosplay as Heine next time. <3

I even met a WoW guild at one of the panels that just happened to have a guild on MY server. :O I told them I'd look them up - too bad they play alliance though and I'm horde!! Oh wells. I got space for some alliance there. But I kinda like my hordie guild, all of us women playing belf dudes... HMM. XD

Even though I (my sister especially) are not real yaoi enthusiasts, we had a ton of fun. It was a nice, small convention and it seems to really cater to our tastes as far as fandoms go.

Next year I'm going as Leon Belmont. x) I'll be accompanied by Nero from Devil May Cry 4 lol

So I hear Disney bought Marvel? Thats kinda weird... what are they going to do with it I wonder? Course if Spiderman and the X Men show up in the next Kingdom Hearts... I dunno. XD lol

I just bought the Cloud and Zidane figures that Square Enix put out for Dissidia... and I have to say I'm really impressed by the art style *_* I don't even like Zidane that much but the figure just looked so cool, I had to get him too. If I didn't hate Squall with a passion I might have gotten that one too just to have the FF boys all together. Bringing my sister to get the other Cloud figure tomorrow... x) as I'm sure she's going to pitch a fit when she sees the ones I have, lol.

Unfortunately... PSP will have to wait. Convention and trip to CA comes first!

Lots of exciting things.

By next year... working on getting my degree at University of Omaha, most likely something involving evironmental sciences. Or something that will allow me to work with forest preservation/wildlife. This also means, getting in some extremely good shape if I want to have a chance at being able to survive/travel in these sort of environments and conduct rescue operations if necessary. This should happen by spring of next year providing my financial aid and grants come through.

If this goes through, then I'm looking at a job and house possibly in Colorado or Wyoming in a few years. New house = yard = puppy XD *squee*

I'm actively pursuing German as a 2nd language, home study along with classes at UNO. This is due in part to wanting to learn a bit more about my heritage and family on my mother's side. Who never saw fit to teach us the language since we planned on living in the states after I was 7 and I've always sort of regretted not being able to speak it. My great grandmother forgot all her English, should I ever get a chance to see with her again it would be nice to speak with her!

My little sister who is insanely good at drawing... (omg so jealous) I need to encourage her to do something more with it. She's pretty limited at home, no art programs or much computer knowledge - so she has no way to share her art online other then through Playstation Network. If she had a tablet, a scanner and some sort of art program... so we've been spending a lot of time texting and playing WoW together. I'm hoping to take her to Yaoicon this October. Its really funny because we are SO alike in many ways but I don't think she likes that sort of thing... BUT!! If she were to meet some other artists, its kind of my hope she'll branch out a little bit and open her mind to new forms of art. Maybe consider school and not just drawing Kingdom Hearts characters... lulz... (I can't talk, thats how I started out too)

By taking her to the con (seriously doubt yaoi is going to broaden her artistic mind ahaha) but I want her to meet other artists, other female artist in paticular who may actually be attending school for art that I'm sure will be there and will be auctioning their artwork. Meet some the manga publishers and look at some of the digital media and some of the styles that she likes. Not to mention, it's a chance to hang out with Rock again <3 <3 <3 since we're meeting there in California! We'll be cosplaying our RO characters, so I'll be going as my assassin: Halperion.

I've got two months to put together this costume. I'm starting with the easy parts first... XD which is the headgear I know I can design and sew easily.

Originally! Hal was drawn with elvens and the Magician's Hat! Which I still love but eventually the Spikey became his token headgear because I liked it so much with the short, feathery hairstyle.

So there are a lot of things I'm looking forward to. Aside from the next Warcraft expansion... omg, seriously? Worgens. Yeah, I'm going to play as one. =_= I can't resist beast-like characters... I've been trying to broaden my experience by doing random art trades on LJ forums. You never know whose character you will be asked to draw and I love it so much, it's a challenge to get myself drawing subjects I normal wouldn't.

Miss Dentist, when I said I broke my tooth and that it was hurting/giving me headaches... and that I couldn't even stand to chew on that side of my mouth thats how painful it was...WHY ..GOD WHY did you have to poke it with your sharp metal pointy thing. I still shudder thinking about how much it hurt when she did that this afternoon... SEARING EXPOSED NERVE THROBBING PAIN... seriously, you're lucky I'm nice. I think anyone else would have bitten your finger off and cussed you out good after that.

I can see why this game took 8 years to make. There are SO MANY options and fun things about this game. It's basically an evolution game, you start out as a cell... eat, get big. Then you evolve your cell into a creature. You hunt and gather DNA to get MORE options to customize your little beastie. AHHHHHH HELP! I CAN'T STOP PLAYING. I'm on the part where I have a little primitive tribe. LOL They wear armor and build stuff now. Its like many different games in one, very awesome and time consuming.

So in trying to occupy my time until the WotLK expansion, I've been playing around in random games, MMOs and console/PC games. I tried S4 League, which looks kinda like an MMO futuristic shooter/soccer game? LOVE the music video btw. Fun to jump off the walls, the movement is definitely cool. Then there is Requiem Online: Bloodymare.... by the makers of Ragnarok Online, which is just lovely if you enjoy blood, slash, horror, twitchy corpses and pretty males in skimpy armor. x) I know I do. It's rather dark but the character designs are fantastic and the nightmare system is an interesting feature, though the first time I witnessed it... didn't realize that fog + darkness + monsters that are my level = me get owned hard.

But today, I happened to log onto the MSN homepage and saw something on this game called
Spore created by Maxis, the people that created Sims. Reading up on it and based on the viewer comments I just HAD to try it. So here I am installing it at this very moment. XD Boy its taking forever too.

I took a week off work, paid vacation with nothing to do but relax, draw and game. Finished up my lastest WoW erotic art trade and posted it here. (NSFW) So I don't recommend clicking this if you're at work or squimish about bewbs.

I always wait til the last minute to finish a project. Uuggghhh... but at least it's done. All in all, I'm glad I joined an art-exchange community. It feels good to be drawing, even if they are requests of things I don't normally draw. Felt nice to be challenged to do something different.

Lately, I've been craving to play Mega Man Legends 2. But I can't find a copy under $45 freakin bucks on E-bay that I can buy now. In the wait for Wrath of the Lich King expansion, I've been pulling out old PS/PS2 games that I never finished. Kingdom Hearts. O.O ...and Kingdom Hearts 2. Final Fantasy 12... um yeah. Where did I leave off and how many years ago? And does that memory card still even exist? XD

My Gaia account was hacked and all my collectables and Cash Shop items were taken. I hope they can restore this, I liked my little evolving pets and stuff. =( If they don't I guess thats it for me. I didn't put a lot of money into it but enough to annoy me.
